In order to keep his great promise of a trip around the world to his granddaughter, 84-year-old Karel decides to do what he does best: curling. However, as his old teammates are unable to play or have already passed away, he seeks help from the unambitious geriatric nurse Onur and his family members, none of whom have ever been on the ice.
